Nature of the service
VÉNA SANTÉ is a private mobile nursing service. The company is neither a laboratory nor a medical clinic. Collection is performed by a licensed practical nurse; the analysis, where it applies, is performed by the partner laboratory according to its own requirements.
Limits of the service
The site and the service provide no diagnosis, no medical consultation and no interpretation of results. In an emergency, or with concerning symptoms, call 911 or contact Info-Santé 811.
Every service offered is subject to the licensed practical nurse’s scope of practice, the applicable care methods, the required medical order and the conditions specific to each situation.
Medical order
A valid order signed by a physician or an authorised professional in Québec is required for laboratory testing. Without it, the collection cannot be performed.
Appointments, changes and cancellation
The appointment is confirmed in writing along with the applicable preparation instructions.
In order to respect our schedule and to allow other clients access to our services, we ask that you cancel or change your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Fees may apply in the event of a late cancellation or a missed appointment.
Pricing and payment
Pricing is on request. An estimate is given to you before the appointment is confirmed, and the price of the service covers the travel as well as the nursing act.
An official receipt is issued after the service. No reimbursement by the RAMQ or by private insurance is promised: coverage depends on your contract.
Service area
The service is offered within the service area published on the site. A visit outside the area may be considered and is agreed with you before the appointment.
